Reconciliation with oneself...

Writer Dr. Imad Al-Awar

In a moment of pure truth, the soul awakens to a profound call, a call that springs from the very core of being. Honesty with oneself is the beginning of all progress; it is the threshold through which one crosses from fragmentation to cohesion, from contradiction to harmony. When one dares to look into the mirror of one's inner self without embellishment or denial, the layers of illusion dissipate, and consciousness begins to reclaim its dominion.
Honesty is an act of complete awareness, psychological courage, and a readiness to bear the responsibility of one's vision. Through it, internal conflicts end, discordant voices are silenced, and the energy wasted in strife is liberated. Reconciliation with oneself stems from this honesty, as the soul acknowledges its true nature, recognizes its capacity for growth, and acknowledges the accumulated effects of experience. This recognition provides a solid foundation for advancement.
The soul is a living entity, influenced by what nourishes it and shaped by the thoughts and feelings it encounters. When left unchecked, it accumulates unintelligible emotions and takes root in unexamined habits, leading to turmoil. However, when it is approached with knowledge and understanding, it regains its balance and transforms from a battleground into a field of conscious action. In this process, knowledge is nourishment, the lifeblood, and the power of inner organization.
The science of truth opens the mind to a horizon of understanding. It is the science that rearranges the relationship between thought and feeling, reveals the laws of inner movement, and grants a person the ability to read themselves as they read the world around them. Through this science, one is freed from the shackles of impression, liberated from knee-jerk reactions, and attains a state of conscious maturity. This maturity allows one to see things in their context, understand experience within its flow, and realize that everything one encounters is capable of being transformed into knowledge.
As understanding deepens, the soul finds peace. This peace is an inner harmony, a state where energies converge and intentions unite. Contentment naturally arises from this harmony, a contentment that connects one to the wisdom of flow and grants a tranquility born of trust in meaning. This contentment purifies action of tension, making it more precise and genuine.
Surrender takes shape as a deeper awareness of order and a mature acceptance of the workings of wisdom. It is a state of harmony between individual will and the flow of meaning, freeing one from anxiety and enabling steadfast action. With surrender, trust manifests as a movement of confidence connected to action, where one strives diligently and allows the results to unfold in their own time. Through this balance, the soul regains its capacity to persevere without exhaustion.
Obedience on this path is an act of conscious love, stemming from understanding and manifested in daily conduct. Life becomes a practice connected to meaning, and actions become a reflection of inner light. Every movement becomes a testimony, and every choice an expression of awareness. In this way, the soul moves from compulsion to freedom, and from fickleness to steadfastness.
