Radiance, oh miracle of light, creativity, creation and formation, oh the majesty of the Creator who is exalted and exalted above everything else that can be described by him.
How wondrous it is that the light of existence should spring forth from nothingness, and how glorious it is that the witness of possibility should shine forth in the darkness, bearing witness to absolute power. It is the illumination that calls to us with the gentlest of calls in light, and says to us in its gentleness and majesty: I am here, in all that you see, in all that you do not see, in what your heart perceives but your eyes do not perceive.
If we look with certainty at the universes, galaxies, and space, we see a system swimming in the Mother of Order, and a movement chanting the secret of stability. We see the balance in which lies the secret of secrets, and the secret of the scale upon which existence is based. We see that the earth, with its sun, its rotation, and the mercy of its cycle, maintains its balances so that no season overpowers another, nor any element dominates another. Every rotation in the celestial sphere is a prostration, every balance in matter is praise, and every breath of life is a silent prayer ascending to the sources of light.
The body that has been placed within us is a sign of the lower light within us, and a mirror of the higher light within us. It manages its internal affairs with indescribable wisdom and continues to function with divine balance, unless our ignorant hands and misguided egos interfere. If we interfere in what we do not know, the balance is disrupted, the body becomes weary, the soul becomes ill, and the light within us is lost. Oh, if only we knew that submitting to His wisdom is the surest cure for every ailment, and that we believed that in leaving what we do not comprehend lies knowledge—knowledge that precedes all learning.
Your radiance, O Light of Lights, appears in every part and manifests itself in every whole. Your manifestation is life, Your revelation is knowledge, and the marvel of Your creation is boundless creativity. It is the essence of reason to acknowledge Your human manifestation in mercy and Your divine dimension in the unseen realm, which we can only perceive through the path of truth. In every act of mercy, You reveal to us a facet of Your humanity, and in every unseen realm where we are veiled, we inhale the breeze of Your divinity. You are the manifest and the hidden, the known and the unknown, the perceptible and the absolute, the light that conceals within itself all its colors so that it may remain pure white, free from all illusion.
O radiance of existence, how can I confine your light to a single letter? How can I speak of you when every word reveals its inadequacy before your perfection? I merely contemplate, and then I fall silent, and the light speaks within me. It says to me: Be a mirror for me, and let me be reflected in you. For light cannot be grasped, but it embraces purity, sees with chastity, and perceives with submission. He who seeks to see the light in others is misguided, but he who looks within himself with the eye of truth sees it shining in every soul. For you are the light in which our light resides, by which our speech breathes, and in which our meanings find their rest.
O radiance of the soul, your knowledge does not come through reason alone, nor through mere faith, but through the union of the two. Reason understands, faith believes, and love translates. Through love, perception becomes witnessing, and through witnessing, the universe becomes an open book of truth. And the universe is nothing but neatly arranged verses of words of light, which we read with letters of stillness, and understand with silence.
If one gazes long upon the horizons, and wonder fills the heart, we know th
