O God, let Your pervasive light be a life in our hearts, a light that awakens the heart to its insight, establishes the balance of wisdom in the mind, and arranges thought towards the purpose of good. Bring about in our thoughts Your effective presence, a presence that directs awareness towards meaning, produces maturity in vision, and transforms thoughts into sources of peace.
Gather Your goodness, Your bounty, and Your mercy into our minds, so that the mind may become a home of fairness, a platform of justice, and a path of conscious love, seeing things as comprehensive signs, and reading events with gentle understanding and broad perception.
Make our world a garden of humanity in which we live with dignity, a garden in which Your presence is truly manifest, and in which Your light is witnessed in dealings, in daily honesty, and in mutual kindness.
