Consultative meeting in Marrakech to enhance the attractiveness of real estate investment in the Marrakech-Safi region

The governor of Marrakech-Safi holds a consultative meeting with real estate developers and decides to create a joint committee.

On Friday, March 6, 2026, the Governor of the Marrakech-Safi region, the Governor of the Marrakech Prefecture, held a consultative meeting with members of the Regional Association of Real Estate Developers, dedicated to discussing a number of issues related to the urban planning and real estate sector at the regional level, and exploring ways to enhance the attractiveness of real estate investment.

This meeting, which was held at the governorate headquarters in Marrakech, provided an opportunity to raise the most prominent issues facing real estate development professionals, particularly those related to urban planning designs and administrative procedures for project implementation, in addition to discussing a range of concerns raised by stakeholders in the sector.

During this meeting, the regional governor, along with representatives of the Regional Association of Real Estate Developers, stressed the importance of strengthening institutional dialogue between public authorities and professionals, in order to keep pace with the urban and developmental dynamism of the Marrakech-Safi region, and to contribute to providing a more attractive investment climate and supporting structuring projects.

It was also agreed to create a joint committee between the state authorities and the regional association of real estate developers, which will study the various issues raised and propose practical and consensual solutions, with the aim of improving the investment environment and facilitating the completion of real estate projects, within the framework of respecting the applicable legal and regulatory controls.

The meeting took place in an atmosphere characterized by a spirit of responsibility and shared commitment to supporting urban development and enhancing the attractiveness of the Marrakech-Safi region as a promising hub for investment and development.
