Every invention begins with one or more inventors, and although international intellectual property law overlooks the definition of who should be considered an inventor, leaving this issue to national laws, and based on the foregoing, every person who contributed to the conception of at least one element of protection when granted a patent is considered partner in invention

It must be noted that the Intellectual Property Protection Office in Lebanon works to secure trademarks registration services, industrial designs, literary and artistic monuments, and patents for Lebanese and foreigners, with the aim of securing legal protection for intellectual property on Lebanese territory.
