لقد حملوا لقب "بني معروف" لا عن عبث، بل لأنهم عُرفوا بالصدق، بالكرم، وبحفظ العهد. في زمن اشتد فيه الصراع بين الإخوة، اختاروا أن يكونوا جسرًا لا خندقًا، وباتوا منارات هدى في عتمة الاحتراب

أبرز هذه المؤسسات: الجمعية الدرزية الأميركية (American Druze Society - ADS): تأسست عام 1929، وتعد من أقدم المنظمات الدرزية في المهجر.ساهمت في إنشاء مراكز ثقافية، وتنظيم مؤتمرات سنوية تجمع الدروز من مختلف الولايات، لمناقشة قضايا الهوية والتعليم والدين.
