هذه البركة أصبحت مركز جذب سياحي لكل الزوار وهواة ال"Hiking"، لاسيما وأنها تتمتع بمناظر طبيعية خلابة، ومحيط ساحر ، وتشكّل بركة العروس متنفساً طبيعياً لأهالي المنطقة وزوّاره
إن هذه الشواهد التي تظهر جلياً في لبنان ، جعلت منه و من مواقعه مرآة للتاريخ البشري والمادي ومهداً للحضارات .
وقد عُرفت هذه المياه منذ العصور القديمة بفوائدها العلاجية، إذ إستُخدمت في التخفيف من آلام المفاصل، وتحسين أمراض الجلد، وتنشيط الدورة الدموية، إضافة إلى دورها في الاسترخاء والعلاج الطبيعي.
